Re: Hilo Coconut Festival
Welcome to all Participants and Supporters of the First Annual “Hilo Coconut Festival” being held at Mokuola (Coconut Island) on Saturday October 20th 2012.

Kahu O Kahiko, Inc. and Ku Kolu is proud to present a day of Hawaiian Culture by sharing, learning, and experiencing how significant the coconut became in the daily lives of our Kupuna.
Every part of the coconut tree played an important roll for their survival and continues until today.

Enjoy the day, be safe and we look forward to seeing you there. In closing, Kahu O Kahiko Inc., would like to leave you with this thought: “Observe, Absorb, and Obtain all that you can be” for we are all keepers of the past.

Mahalo Nui Loa,
John Roberts
President -Kahu O Kahiko Inc.
